Anyone know the origin of oops?
Lewis Joplin II
"Oops" must be older than this. Wouldn't you think?

oops - noun. "an oversight; error. 1979 in Fierstein 'Torch Song' 151: That was an 'Oops.'..."

oops - verb. "to vomit. 1965 Hersey 'Too Far to Walk' 69: It makes me really oops, that kind of image.'"
